Tim O'Reilly, great exploration of Keynes’ foresight and the discussions around Universal Basic Income (UBI).

Instead of UBI, I propose that User Generated Content (UGC) is a key component of the economy that can provide a construct for private industry to circulate currency in new and creative ways based the value of UGC. Creating new outlets for currency circulation not based on the industrial age idea of production is key to Unlocking the Labor Cage we are currently suffering inside.

Similar to the “Gold Cage” that Keynes spoke of with our monetary system we are currently caged by the idea that only labor provides compensable value in society.

The “Future of Work” must expand what “work” is—to include all value creation and expand how currency is circulated for value creation.
